I am starting the evaluation of headspace for neutraceuticals (predominately
tocopherol based materials, and food oils) and am attempting to narrow the
range of vendors.

For sensitivity, it would appear that that headspace systems capable of "dynamic" operation are preferential, and as best I can tell I am then looking at the Tekmar HT3 or the EST Markelov HS9000. We'll be coupling this most likely to a HP 5972 system with capillary (currently set up for purge & trap).
Any thoughts or considerations?

Greg:
Is there some reason that you don't want to just use the purge and trap?  Are these sensitive compounds?
Unfortunately, I can't offer any advice on the specific models that you are considering.
By the way, congratulations on being the Most Valuable Poster on the site for April.

My problem is two-fold, first

My problem is two-fold, first is simply their familiarity with headspace, and then where they need testing for compliance, the method is specifying headspace. Though if you compare purge & trap to headspace, P&T could easily be described as a specialized version of dynamic headspace, it basically falls on deaf ears.

Personally, for the oils, I see vacuum distillation (via Cincinatti Scientific) as having a lot of advantages, but again there is no (USP) regulatory approval for this technology (much to the chagrin of the folks over at Cincinatti Scientific).

PS, thanks for the congrats.

I think you should go for

I think you should go for quality control check up at any company engaged in neutraceuticals.
