I HAVE A ELISA PLATE READER, I GOT AN ERROR MESSAGE,
THATS MESSAGE (FILTER MOTOR CHECK) WHAT SHALL I DO,
Call the manufacturer, without knowing the make and more information it is hard to help you
I guess the motor that moves between the different optical filters in the reader is not working properly and if this is the case then you definitely need the manufacturers input
Don't tell me you own a SpetraMax plate reader. If you do be warned that you may be in for a long and painful experience dealing with Molecular Devices. Not too long ago my lab had two of their M2's and both would go down on a regular basis. After sending them to repairs, even getting their "white glove" treatment, the plates would still come up with errors.
Either way, call the manufacturer and get it repaired by a professional, otherwise you will get this same error again sooner or later.
