DirectPCR Lysis Reagent by Viagen

I was wondering if anyone out there has experience with using the DirectPCR Lysis reagent available through Viagen as a replacement for traditional (Phenol:Chloroform) extractions. Any feedback including yield, cost savings, etc. would be most helpful.

I had used Direct PCR lysis

I had used Direct PCR lysis buffer, Qiagen Kit, and Sigma Kit.

Among them, it seems that Qiagen Kit is better in extracting DNA from the sample. But the Kit is a little bit slow.

As for the Direct PCR lysis buffer, it's quick. But the yield is not as good as the Qiagen Kit.
