KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE OFFICER
Rothamsted Research, the largest agricultural research centre in the UK and the oldest agricultural research station in the world, is seeking a Knowledge Exchange (KE) Officer to support Rothamsted’s direct relationship with key stakeholders such as farmers, agronomists, levy boards, trade groups and agribusiness companies in order to facilitate knowledge exchange, new collaborations and innovative agricultural practice.
The Knowledge Exchange Officer will support colleagues in a range of externally focussed KE activities. The KE Officer will also support the development of our Advanced Training Partnerships, support the Rothamsted Research Association, and manage the systems that capture our KE activities and demonstrate impact. The successful candidate will have a good BA/BSc or above in agriculture or natural sciences and thorough experience working on field-based programmes, translational science and agricultural technology development.
This position will require an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to work co-operatively with multiple stakeholders and the organisational ability to manage multiple projects. We seek candidates who are self-motivated, capable of working independently and results orientated.
This is an indefinite Band D full time post with a starting salary usually in the region of £29,547 to £31,995 per annum.
