The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at York St John University is seeking to appoint two research assistants to provide support on a range of projects adopting both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
You will be expected to provide a diverse range of research support activities, including research planning, project management, literature searching, data collection, conducting interviews, data analysis, and the production of research outputs for dissemination or publication, and assistance with the construction of funding bids.
You will have a good first degree in an associated discipline, have demonstrated experience of research project management, knowledge of research design, experience with either quantitative or qualitative data analysis and will have demonstrated competence in the employment of various data analysis software packages (eg. SPSS, Amos, NVivo etc). Completed (or be in the process of completing) a Master’s degree in a subject relevant to health and life sciences is desirable.
