g6pd deficiency diet

My 2.4 year old son recently had an episode of jaundice and anaemia after consuming a large amount of fresh broad beans. His HB is back to normal in 1 week and he was on folic acid 1mg for two weeks only. He has been eating them since he was around 1.5 years old and nothing has ever happened before. I would like to know if we need to avoid all beans including green beans, chick peas, lentils etc. He has eaten lentil soups for the past two years and seemed to be ok. Is it only broad beans we need to avoid. i have been to the websites and they mention beans (favism), however I would just like to know exactly what types to avoid and if he would still be able to eat peas, green beans as he has done all his life? Thanks
