An experienced administrator is required to provide comprehensive support to the Centre of Implementation Science (CIS). This team of researchers is looking at the role of healthcare professionals, managers, commissioners of services and policymakers to investigate how best to help "implement" evidence-based practice and clinical research within health services in South London and further afield.
CIS is part of a wider award from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) to carry out applied research to improve the delivery of evidence-based healthcare in the NHS.
The job will involve diary management for Head of Centre and Programme Manager, preparing agendas and taking and disseminating minutes, and general administration for the CIS team. It will also involve assisting with event administration, including booking travel venues and catering and being "point of contact for enquiries about events". The candidate will also manage and monitor expenditure for the Centre
Applicants should have a solid background in administration, with a bias towards financial management. We need someone who is very well organised with their time and workload, and who is prepared to make extra effort to ensure that tasks are carried out within allotted timeframes and to a high standard of accuracy.
This is a fixed term contract until 31 December 2018.
The appointee will receive a salary between £23,386-£26,274 per annum plus £2,323 London Allowance per annum depending on relevant qualifications and experience.
