Summary
 
Based in Horsham, West Sussex this is an exciting opportunity to join a client services team that delivers detailed international distribution service projects to corporate clients’ specifications. This role offers the ability to combine client interface and project expertise in a fast-paced environment. The role is with a service provider to the pharmaceutical industry and will include full training for successful candidates from other sectors.
 
The Company
 
The company is a global service provider with significant operations internationally. They provide a range of services to pharmaceutical corporate clients enabling them to outsource supply chains for critical product deliveries on an international basis. The company have a number of international operational centres and a global network of depots. The position has arisen to meet increasing clients demand with the Horsham site seeing a 100% increase in staff over the last 5 years and now employing over 500 people.
 
The Role
 
Acting as the client’s contact point and project owner this role entails the management of critical and highly regulated international supply chain distribution projects. The job holder will devise and agree project specifications, then manage the project execution through to successful delivery which will be on time, within budget and to specification. This involves substantial communication and coordination between the client, the operational departments and third party service providers. The services to be coordinated focus on distribution, logistics, delivery and returns of time and often life critical products.
 
This is a very fast-paced environment that requires excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to act on initiative. Full training will be provided in the company’s services and industry sector following an analysis of individuals training needs.

Experience
 
We are seeking first-rate corporate client service expertise and demonstrable project management skills that have been developed in a regulated service provider environment. It would be preferable if your expertise has incorporated working in the provision of distribution, logistical and/or courier services or managing supply chains.
 
Please note: there is no public transport available to the rurally located offices. Your own transport is therefore essential.
