Key responsibilities include:
National Accounts and Contracting Strategy
' Negotiates favorable terms, identifies, develops and executes business opportunities for ZymoGenetics' products with key GPOs, IDNs, government entities, wholesalers and other significant customers and develop to key stakeholders within each account, creating mutually beneficial business relationships with each entity.
' Develops and coordinates pricing and contracting strategies to optimize commercial and government sales and profitability and insure market competitiveness.
' Oversees and facilitates efforts with Sales Management and partner organizations to penetrate influential medical groups and IDNs, overseeing strategies and tactics, and supplementing regional efforts to win formulary positioning or pull-through product agreements.
' Provides strategic direction for ensuring appropriate marketing and pricing for all products.
' Effectively and closely collaborates with promotional partner's National Accounts team to coordinate penetration and pull-through opportunities at the GPO level.
' Evaluates competitive activity, identifies key opportunities, and develops specific account objectives and tactics that optimize business performance.
' Leads cross-functional teams to secure formulary access and drive effective pull-through with key customers.
' Identifies barriers to entry or obstacles to pull-through in the marketplace, and works closely with customers, partners and ZymoGenetics Sales Management, Marketing, Medical Science and Operations to overcome barriers and obstacles to product usage.
' Oversees the development and implementation of targeted customer segmentation, pricing, contracting and reimbursement strategies that result in optimized market position and profitability.
' Develops, negotiates and implements innovative contracts to support brand strategies and coordinates pull through activities to support access opportunities and challenges ultimately resulting in significant ROIs.
