A superb new opportunity has opened for a German speaking Pre-Sales Consultant to provide expert business support and technical knowledge throughout the sales cycle.

This global software provider are currently in the process of forming their German office, and have already made hires for consultants starting this Autumn and early 2014. It is an exciting time to join during this growth period as the structure has proved extremely successful the last 12 months. This Lead Solutions Consultant role would require a training programme at the UK headquarters to start with, before being home based in Germany.

In this Pre-Sales role, you will be supporting Account Managers and the sales team in shaping, driving and delivering pre-sales action plans. You will also be participating in the following:

*Developing and managing customer and partner relationships
*Carrying out initial business analysis to identify customer requirements
*Delivering strong domain knowledge and technical skills
*Ensuring Product Managers and Customer Support staff are continuing to develop the product and services knowledge based on feedback
*Contributing to region revenue growth and helping to win new business
*Adapting pre-sales materials to customers needs
*Presenting and explaining company products
*Maintaining awareness of company products, corporate vision, customers and competitors
*Attending conferences and events to support sales efforts
*Up to 50% travel may be required, both nationally and internationally

The ideal candidate for this Lead Solutions Consultant role should have significant pre-sales experience, ideally within scientific software. It is essential for candidates to have knowledge within at least one of the companies target markets; pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, analytical sciences, chemicals. You must also have the following attributes of strong sales professional:

*Coordinate multiple tasks
*Communicate exceptionally and professionally
*Confident in presenting
*Collect and interpret complex data and information
