Regional Sales Leader

The Opportunity: The Western Regional Sales Leader ensures the growth, revenue and profitability of the region by developing sales strategies, building and maintaining strong customer relationships and providing leadership throughout the region.
This role is responsible for developing territory business plans and developing key metrics to meet those goals. The successful candidate must also manage budgets and forecasts to deliver on commitments. Additionally, this role must continue to leverage key Sales talent by identifying critical skills and competencies needed within the region. Must provide frequent feedback and coaching and be proactive in providing developmental opportunities for sales team members. This individual must deliver results and drive for continuous improvement. They must set high performance expectations and hold others accountable for expected results.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 8 years’ experience in field sales and management is also required, as well as proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. The ability to interpret P&Ls and travel approximately 50% of the time is needed. Must also be a proven leader who consistently demonstrates success by motivating others, interfacing with various levels of customers and embodying PerkinElmer’s core values.
