GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the development and implementation of business plans at targeted institutions within Tennessee to achieve sales objectives. This will be accomplished by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key thought leaders and internal business partners within teaching hospitals, using strong territory management and business planning skills, providing technical expertise, projecting a professional demeanor in all activities and bring an entrepreneurial approach to develop programs and a consultative approach to selling discussions.
Successful candidate will have at least four years working as a specialty sales representative with direct hospital selling experience in the areas of, Oncology, Infectious Disease Critical Care, and/or Transplant. We are looking for candidates that understand through hands-on experience working in a hospital setting, including a large geographical territory with some major medical institutions. The successful candidate will have knowledge of contracting, reimbursement, opinion leader relationship development, clinical trials and. a record of consistent achievement against goals. Priority hospitals within this territory include but not limited to teaching hospitals such as Vanderbilt, St Judes, Baptist and Centennial. No overnight travel required.
