An exiciting opportunity to join the Health Sciences Diagnostics team to support the development of methods of analysis for our Clinical business.
Support the development of new applications and diagnostic kits for the clinical diagnostics market.
Communicate product requirements for the clinical market to the appropriate instrument product manager(s) and the verification team.
Ensure that Waters total system solutions are identified for the relevant market(s) and produce relevant technical material to support marketing and regulatory filings for these total system solutions.
Evaluate new hardware, software and diagnostic kit developments resulting from market requirement documents.
Generate (or co-ordinate production of) data for marketing purposes.
Assist in the generation of application specific manuals, as appropriate.
Attend scientific conferences to present data and to gather knowledge.
Transfer knowledge of new applications, new hardware software and diagnostic kits to internal customers.
Assist applications laboratory staff to conduct customer demonstrations, as appropriate.
Assist Clinical support staff with on-site customer visits and seminars where appropriate.
Generate data to support training of the sales force and attend sales meetings when appropriate.
Generate regular written progress reports.
Qualified to degree level or higher in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related life-science discipline.
Good organisational skills.
Good communication skills
Project management skills.
Experience in application of mass spectrometry.
