This project will involve, amongst other topics, the synthesis of small molecules as irreversible inhibitors of kinases relevant in important human diseases (cancer, malaria, TB etc) and the research could include collaborative interactions with German research partners. The fellowship is for one year and is possibly renewable for a second year.
PhD (must have graduated within the last five years) Applicant must have performed PhD work in the field of organic chemistry with a strong emphasis on synthetic chemistry. Relevant expertise in the area of medicinal chemistry will also be advantageous.
