Scope of Position: Supporting Engineering department with drawings, documents and database management.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Producing technical documentation
• Publishing troubleshooting guides
• Generating CAD drawings of existing equipment or equipment modifications
• Preparing experiment documentation and executing experiments
• Preparing and completing engineering change orders
• Administering the engineering document system
Travel Requirements: none
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: M-F; 8am - 5pm
Required Education: HS diploma or GED
Required Years and Area of Experience: 5-8 years with HS degree; less experience needed based on advanced education
• Microsoft office suite
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Technical writing experience
• Familiarity with document control systems
Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership):
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
