Shimadzu Scientific Instruments Inc. is currently searching for a Service Engineer for the Southern California Region. This position will support service work on our entire product line in the San Diego Metro area and travel overnight approximately 20% of the time.
The individual in this position is responsible for a wide variety of service related support functions including, but not limited to, the repair, maintenance, and installation of Shimadzu Products. Additionally, responsibilities include the training and support of regional staff and less experienced personnel, as well as, other related duties that may be assigned from time to time. The essential function of this position is the repair, maintenance and installation of those products sold by SSI within the position’s assigned area of responsibility.
A minimum of an AA in Electrical Engineering or Technology with 3 years of field exposure with related instrument repair or the equivalent experience.
Incumbent should have knowledge of electronics, SSI Product Lines, Strong Organizational and Customer relationship Skills and be computer literate.
