Scope of Position:
New to mid-level engineering position involving mechanical design, overseeing machine shop orders, running experiments and developing/testing some software code
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Work to develop correlations between new in-process measures that correlate with product defects allowing these new measures to be adopted by manufacturing as value added tools to better manage process performance and product quality. Individual will work in close proximity to Division Engineering green end Process Engineering group to build necessary correlations and measurements adoptions.
Travel Requirements: Yes, plant locations that would include CET’s international locations.

Education and Experience: MS in Mechanical Engineering
• 3-4 years Solid works 2D and 3D design for manufacturing
• 1-2 years working with machine shops to manufacture parts
• -2 year’s experience running experiments, processing data with excel, word, etc. and writing engineering reports
• Working knowledge of Ceramic Materials
• Outstanding innovator and problem solver, capable of independent self-direction
• Measurements and controls experience
• Programming in .NET environment
• Programming PLC's or motion control systems
• Extrusion process knowledge
• Vision systems, fluid mechanics, robotics
• Strong communication skills
• Good documentation capability
• Ability to work in plant environments requiring a high degree of discipline and rigor
