Process Improvement Customer Care Intern

Scope of Position:
·         Develop a Customer Service Dashboard(s)
·         Assist in Business Warehouse Development for Customer Care
·         Business Process Mapping
 
Responsibilities:
·         Using Visual Basic (Excel) design a dashboard for the Customer Care Group (CSRs and Formal Quotations)
·         Formulating input from CC management team as to requirements
·         Determining data source system of record
·         Work with IT to determine data pull into dashboard
·         Presenting final dashboard to CC management
·         Define and Implement a Business Warehouse Data Collection Tool for CC
·         Formulating input from CC management as to ad hoc and standard required reports pulling data from SAP ECC and SAP CRM
·         Work with IT Business Warehouse group to set up data cubes to populate data collection tool
·         Present and gain final buy-off from CC management
·         Participate in Business Process Mapping
·         Mapping as-is business processes using MS Visio
·         Assist in data gathering/analysis exercises as directed by CC Management
·         Work with Training Coordinator to provide enhanced training documentation for Customer Care team
 
Hours of work / work schedule / flex-time
·         Basic work hours are 40hrs/week; 8am-5pm
 
Education and Experience
·         Enrolled in Mathematics/Statistics/Industrial Engineering (or relevant)program
·         Course work completed to include: Excel Visual Basic and Business Warehouse
·         GPA of 3.0 or above
·         Relevant experience a plus

·         Computer literate in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Visio)
·         Problem-solving skills
·         Organizational skills
·         Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
·         Ability to build relationships and interact with all levels of the organization
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information
·         Results-oriented
·         Flexibility - Able to change and adjust smoothly as the situation demands
 
Desired Skills
·         Experience in delivering executive level dashboard solutions
·         SAP Software (ECC 6.0 and CRM)
