The Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology is seeking a
 
Coordinator International Max Planck Research School “From Molecules to Organisms”


The IMPRS “From Molecules to Organisms” with its 25 faculty members based at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology, the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory and the University of Tübingen will provide unique interdisciplinary training to highly qualified PhD students recruited nationally and internationally.
 
Employment terms: Part-time (50%, TVöD 13), initially fixed-term contract
 
Job Description:
• Coordination of PhD student recruitment
• Support for the PhD students in academic and personal affairs
• Organization of training activities and courses
 
Qualifications:
• PhD in relevant field highly preferred
• Excellent organizational skills
• Fluency in English and German
• Experience with databases
• Some flexibility regarding working hours
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communications skills
 
Start: Negotiable, ideally 1.03.2011
