Bangor University - North West Cancer Research Fund Institute (NWCRFI)
Starting Salary: £23,661 - £28,251 (on Grade 6) p.a.
This is a full-time position to work in a research group in the NWCRFI to identify and characterise a family of novel cancer-specific antigens This will involve assessing the potential of these proteins as antigenic markers and as possible oncogenes.
The post-holder will need experience in molecular genetics and will preferably have experience in mammalian tissue culture. The post is funded by the North West Cancer Research Fund and has direct links with a translational research programme in the newly formed Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
The successful candidate will be expected to start 1st April, 2011, or as soon as possible thereafter and the post is available until the end of September, 2012.
