Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology (Depression)

Applications are invited for a Senior Lectureship in Clinical Psychology, specializing in the understanding and treatment of depression and related mood disorders. The successful applicant will have an established track record of internationally recognised, and competitively funded, research in mood disorders, as well as recognised expertise in the assessment and psychological treatment of these conditions. He or she will also contribute to related teaching and supervision on the Institute’s Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology. The post holder will be a joint member of the Institute’s Department of Psychology (Head-Professor Elizabeth Kuipers) and King’s Health Partners Mood, Anxiety and Personality Clinical Academic Group (MAP CAG. Academic Head-Professor David M Clark). The latter brings together researchers and clinicians at King’s College London and the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust to enhance the understanding and treatment of relevant conditions. The MAP CAG manages four London IAPT services, as well as providing expert secondary and specialist services in mood disorders.
