The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, undergoing rapid expansion, seeks the appointment of tenure-track faculty members at all levels. A successful candidate is expected to build a vigorous research program that meshes with and enhances the extensive research network as described on http://www.bme.cmu.edu, particularly in the areas of cellular and cardiovascular biomechanics, biomedical imaging and signal processing, bioMEMS, and smart medical devices and materials.
