The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a
W2 Professorship for Veterinary Biochemistry as of now
Reference is made to § 61 section 7 Hessisches Hochschulgesetz (HHG) and to conditions of employment based on § 62 HHG. Proficient knowledge of German is expected.
The successful candidate will contribute to research and student education in the Institute of Veterinary Biochemistry and in collaboration with the Institute of Veterinary Physiology corresponding to the German Veterinary Approbation Act (TAppV) and Education Regulation of the Department. Student education comprises classroom and laboratory teaching in veterinary biochemistry and other related faculties. A large commitment to interdisciplinary research is expected. A dedication to contribute to campus-wide postgraduate programs and research networks (Ph.D.-program, Gießen Graduate School of Life Sciences) is desired.
