Commercial Project Analyst

Scope of Position:
The Commercial Process Analyst role is required to represent the SAP commercial interest, work with global organizations to drive best practices, and be the primary point of contact for cross-functional systems projects. The role will drive the prioritization process for SAP requests and coordinate commercial resources required for global projects. This role will take the lead in the commercial power user network and take responsibility for the SAP training plan and succession plans for key roles identified for our journey to maintain, leverage and invest in future SAP capabilities. This role primarily works with the regional Customer Service organizations to improve SAP processes and coordinates with global commercial organizations to prioritize system enhancements and projects.
Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Review, map, and analyze the SAP commercial processes. Keep process maps up to date. Drive for process standardization globally where ever possible. Seek out SAP best practices and drive adoption throughout the global organization.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Customer Service and Commercial key managers and Regional Process Leads to achieve the following:

o    Implement approved business process changes to more effectively utilize the SAP platform
o    Develop and manage a prioritized list of system enhancements and improvement projects, including creation of business cases
o    Integrate Commercial priority list into global governance and report to key stakeholders. Global governance is managed by Enterprise Business Solutions.
o    Work with Commercial Power User Network to assess business needs and communicate system and process changes
o    Respond to End User/Power User questions in a prompt and service oriented manner.
o    Ensure business end users are using SAP wisely and effectively
o    Build the level of knowledge and awareness of SAP capabilities
o    Maintain and develop applicable policies, processes, and procedures
o    Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and global SAP experts at other locations.
o    Balance demands between an immediate fix and a sustainable long term process.
Travel Requirements: Possible from time to time, mainly to EMEA
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: 40 hours/week
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or Relevant Experience
Required Years and Area of Experience: 5+
