Ashfield are delighted to be recruiting for a hospital sales specialist working dedicated to Boehringer Ingelheim across the Hertfordshire territory.
To drive sales and advocacy within the hospital arena by selling to secondary care clinicians, their clinical team and some payors, ensure that eligible patients have access to BI products.

Boehringer Ingelheim is dedicated to the research and development of medical products to improve, sustain and care for life.
They have a reputation for providing effective products for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart attack, secondary stroke prevention and treatment, high blood pressure, thromboembolic disease, HIV/AIDS, Parkinson's disease, arthritis and pain relief in cancer.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and implementing local account plan that is in line with overarching regional account plan and within budget - to maximise advocacy and patient access to BI products.
Can analyse and interpret clinical and sales data. Keeps up to speed with local intelligence and shares knowledge with Local Account Team members highlighting business opportunities across secondary and primary.
Develops stakeholder map. Has deep understanding of the emerging multi-stakeholder environment and develops and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of customer needs, maintains customer engagement plan, networks, and knowledge of products and environment
ssential Skills
Degree level or equivalent. Science or business background preferable
Experience and proven success in a secondary care sales role
Understands BI's medium term strategy across the brand portfolio
Good level understanding of the NHS (UK) / HSE (Ireland) organisation, priorities and networks
Excellent understanding of the local health economy and the influencers within
ABPI (UK) / MRII (Ireland) qualification
