Postdoc - Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Summary

Investigator: Haojie Huang, Ph.D. Associate Professor

Postdoctoral positions are available to work in the area of cell cycle regulation, gene transcription control, epigenetics, and cancer biology. The lab primarily focuses on the regulation and function of tumor suppressors and oncoproteins such as FOXO1, PTEN and the androgen receptor (AR) and histone modifiers such as EZH2 and their roles in prostate and breast tumorigenesis. Findings from our research can be seen in our publications in high-profile journals, including Nature Cell Biology, 2010; Cancer Research, 2011; 2009; 2008; Cell Death and Differentiation, 2009; Science, 2006; PNAS, 2005. The approaches we are using range from mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry to mouse genetics. A strong background of the candidates in Molecular Biology, Tumor Biology, and Biochemistry is essential. We are seeking candidates who are self-motivated and career-oriented to join a highly interactive research team. An attractive package for salary and medical and dental benefits will be provided.
