Job Description

A POSTDOCTORAL SCIENTIST POSITION is available for a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. scientist to study the molecular control of the regulated proteolysis in the ERBB/K-RAS signal transduction using human cancer cell lines, human tumor specimens and mouse models of human cancer. This position can start immediately in the summer of 2012. A strong background and considerable research experiences in cancer biology, biochemistry, cell biology, molecular genetics, molecular biology or developmental biology are required for this position. Highly motivated, ambitious, dedicated, productive, responsible and energetic candidates who love to do Science/Research are sought after. Successful PhD applicants must have at least 1-2x first author publications from his/her PhD training and have demonstrated excellence in scientific creativity, responsibility, good work ethic and positive can-do attitude in scientific research.

The postdoctoral salary and benefit are paid based on the 2012 NIH scale and it is highly competitive in the United States.
