New Opening - Inside Sales Representative - Torrance, CA

A new position with an international biochemical company has just come
available.  The position is an Inside Sales Representative and the job
details are below.

opportunity.  This full-time position will pay a starting base annual salary
in the range of $35 - 50K plus individual performance bonus, team incentive
pay and company-wide bonus program.  The position is located in Torrance. A
pre-employment drug testing and background screening is a required part of
the hiring process.  The company will be interviewing and hiring as soon as

The Sales Representative (inside) will be responsible for selling the
company's products and services by contacting prospective and established
customers. The Sales Representative (inside) will follow up on leads and
establish close customer contacts to promote the company's products to
select accounts as designated by Sales Management.

Contact prospective customers to uncover sales leads and pursue to
Maintain sales program within assigned territory to meet Sales Budget. Sell
company's products and services by calling prospective and established
customers. Provide information to customers as it pertains to available
services, prices and new products. Distill customer requirements and qualify
project leads before presenting to operational functions. Present applicable
company capabilities as benefits to prospective customers. Meet established
company sales quota by obtaining and renewing orders. Monitor competitive
activity and trends within the established territory. Prepare quotes or
forward as required. Research marketing leads and follow-up. Act as liaison
between customer contacts and operations personnel.

Increase quote requests and sales. Gather and communicate relevant market
information to Sales Management. Ensure that quotes are submitted in a
timely manner. Follow up on customer concerns and requests for information
and new customer opportunities.

Department:        Product Services

Ideally, you will have a minimum 2 years + in customer service or sales and
a minimum of a B.S. in science.  Experience in pharmaceutical or fine
chemical sales preferred. Excellent computer skills - Word, Excel, Access &
Outlook, Access helpful.  Excellent communication and phone skills. Positive
presentation style. Motivation.  Knowledge of company's products. Proactive.
Aggressive/Competitive selling techniques.  Strong prioritization and
organizational skills.
