This is an exciting opportunity for a research fellow to take part in the wide range of ongoing paediatric research activity based within the Paediatric Infectious Diseases Research Group (PIDRG), part of the Institute of Infection and Immunity, St George’s University of London. The principal role of the post holder is to act as the clinical research fellow for the NeoVanc project (www.neovanc.org), a European Union funded FP7 project that includes a multicentre randomized clinical trial of optimal dosing strategies of vancomycin in neonates, to be conducted within the EU.

The post holder will have a strong interest in paediatric and neonatal infectious diseases and antibiotic dosing/resistance. He or she will have strong links with the many other EU research teams in the project. The post holder will be based in the PIDRG at SGUL.

The post is for 3 years and suitable for a higher degree (MD or PhD).
