Hi,

i am new to chemistry and have a task to filter 18F-FDG (molar mass 181 g/mol) from (a) mixture of 18F-FDG + water, (b)mixture of 18F-FDG + saline. I should do this using a semi-permeable membrane (synthetic or organic).

I looked at this link http://www.thomassci.com/Membrane/_/POLYCARBONATE-MEMBRANE-FILTERS?q=*

but got confused as there are many memberane filters 0.22, 0.45 micrometre, but how should i decide which on will do the job for me.

Thanks very much in advance

Actually, i want something even simpler, meaning a membrane that allows 18F-FDG to diffuse through it but i don't care if saline/water diffuses across the membrane or not. I just want that 18F-FDG should diffuse to the other side (with lower conentration on the other side)... Thanks you...
