How to glue the coverslip to the bottom of recording chamber?

Dear patch clampers:

I wonder what substance do you use to glue the coverslip to the bottom of recording chamber for patch clamp. And, would you please tell us the corporation that makes it and its catalog number? Thanks a lot.

We have been using 502 to glue the coverslip to the bottom of the recording chamber for patch clamp. But, when it is leaky and the coverslip needs to be replaced, it is very difficult to remove the coverslip from the chamber bottom, and we have to scratch the glass away, producing small dangerous glass pieces. So we hope to change to some other thing to glue the coverslip to the chamber bottom.

I am using parafilm to "glue

I am using parafilm to "glue" the coverslip to my chamber. Actually, I make the connection by "soldering" the parafilm to coverslip and chamber. Then I cut the remaining, "unsoldered" parafilm and remove it from the inside of my chamber. This works very well and is tight, no leaking. If you want/need to remove the coverslip you can just "scratch" it off using a razor blade.
