Microarray/Bio-informatics Specialist
Building on our existing Affimer array products and processes, you will facilitate the design and analysis of Affimer microarrays; enable the interpretation of microarray results through network and pathway analysis and be actively involved in wet-lab experiments. Beyond your work with microarrays, you will also be required to help with the design of semi-randomised peptide libraries; to establish and curate sequence databases; and to support and interface with existing and developing LIMS requirements that cover our high-through-put protein expression facility. In addition to identifying and maintaining the necessary software and computing equipment, you will also have the flexibility to learn new techniques, allowing you to contribute fully to the work of the R&D as well as the customer facing Array Services teams. You will join a team of biological research scientists, and be expected to interact where appropriate with our existing team of software engineers.
