Opening For NIHR Academic Clinical Lectureship - Bristol

 Job Ref: ACAD101117
Applications are invited for an NIHR funded Clinical Lectureship via Public Health England (PHE) based at the University of Bristol’s School of Cellular and Molecular Medicine. The post holder will join a world class team of researchers in the area of antimicrobial resistance.

The group’s activities encompass basic science research, translational research and clinical trials. It is expected the group will expand significantly from mid-2015 onwards. Clinical training will take place within the newly formed Severn Infection Sciences which is a partnership between PHE and North Bristol NHS Trust. It provides 50% salary support to allow the successful candidate to set aside time to develop academic skills. The remaining 50% funding will be provided for clinical training. The lectureship is available for a maximum of four years and applicants should already possess a PhD.
