Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Cancer Pathology from medically qualified candidates who have completed a CCT in Histopathology.
You will join the University of Edinburgh Division of Pathology led by Professor Mark Arends, based within the Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre at the Western General Hospital. The post will support increasing research, educational and clinical activity relating to cancer pathology in the Division of Pathology in Edinburgh and carry honorary consultant status with the NHS Lothian university Hospitals Division.
The post is graded ACN3 (clinical) and attracts an annual salary in the range £75,249 to £101,451 per annum for a 10 PA contract. The 5 clinical PAs will comprise 4 PAs of direct clinical care Histopathology and 4 hours per week for Supporting Professional Activity. The successful applicant may also be offered an additional Academic EPA. Placement on the scale will be subject to consultant seniority as per the Clinical Consultant Contract.
