Research Assistant @ School of Clinical Sciences
We are looking for an enthusiastic researcher to work with Professor Wynick's group based in the School of Medical Sciences.
You will be required to generate a number of constructs relating to the first and second galanin receptors GalR1 and GalR2 (both GPCRs) and then transfect them into various cell lines and primary neurons.
Read outs will include measures of cell trafficking and axonal localisation, neurite outgrowth and various biochemical interactions including pull-down assays. This is a two year position funded by the MRC.
