Job Overview:

The Clinical Development Trainer will implement the functional learning strategy for Global Operations (GO), including regional staff, and provide training to other functions in Global Clinical Development as needed. This position is also responsible for identifying, designing and delivering high quality functional learning programs and tools that address business needs and keeping internal/external compliance in accordance with Our Client's processes and regulatory requirements

Job Responsibilities:

    - Collaborate with relevant business partners with the company (e.g., GQM, HR), Clinical Development study teams and cross functional groups to develop functional learning programs and events to enhance overall compliance with internal processes and regulatory quality standards and performance of study teams.
    - Provide input to develop a functional training strategic plan considering all roles and functions within Clinical Development
    - Provide input to functional training needs analysis to identify training needs
    - Implement training strategy within Clinical Development internal team and regional group, including CRO personnel for outsourced studies, to ensure adequate qualification of staff
    - Design and deliver training material and appropriate tools/systems based on analysis and training plan
    - Ensure structured, consistent and efficient functional training is provided to all in-house and regional staff
    - Facilitate implementation of functional training initiatives (regional and global)
    - Contribute to harmonization of training policies, processes and procedures
    - Provide day-to-day support to GO staff in areas of processes and procedures
    - Develop and implement metrics/relevant assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training
    - Maintain and deliver induction program for new staff or transferees in GO
    - Work in close collaboration with the Clinical Development Informatics (CDI) and GO process and compliance group to implement functional training and increase compliance to processes
    - Support Global Training Manager in implementation of training in Clinical Development as required
    - Support in maintenance of the Clinical Development Induction program
    - Ensures all trainings within Global Clinical Development are tracked in the appropriate tracking tool
    - Identify, select and manage suppliers to complement internal expertise in the delivery of quality training
    - When appropriate, organize and supervise training give by 3rd party
    - Keeps up-to-date on learning and development trends to identify and implement progressive solutions (e.g. e-learning, etc) in accordance with the Global HR Training and Development strategy
    - Assess the applicability of new learning technologies
    - Facilitate sharing of best practices across regions and across study teams

Job Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's Degree in a biologic science, other science related field of study, or training discipline. Masters degree preferred.
    - Minimum five years relevant experience in Clinical Research and Drug Development Process including minimum of three years of training experience
    - Demonstrates knowledge of GxP environment and international regulatory regulations
    - Demonstrates knowledge of clinical operational processes (i.e. proven experience in field monitoring preferred within a global organization at CRO or Pharma) and or/global trail management
    - Proven competence to perform the training cycle (training needs analysis, conducting training and training evolutions)
    - Shows evidence of implementing training strategies
    - Shares expertise, learning, and relevant information across teams
    - Always looks for improvement and new ideas
    - Pro-active and forward thinking in initiating and managing change
    - Provides solutions and establishes direction to reach objectives and displaying a "can-do" attitude
    - Capable of creating and fostering a team environment and proven capability to work in a global/remote team and matrix structure
